Deauthorization and Data Deletion Policy
Last Updated: August 1, 2025
At TrignoWeb, we are committed to transparency and giving you full control over your data. This policy outlines how you can disconnect your social media accounts from our service and request the deletion of your data.
Our service requires authorization to access your social media accounts (like Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Twitter, Medium, Tumblr, Blogger, etc.) to automate content publishing and gather performance analytics on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time.
1. How to Deauthorize and Revoke Access
When you deauthorize TrignoWeb, our application will immediately lose the ability to access your account, publish content, or retrieve any data. To revoke our access, you must do so directly from the settings of the respective social media platform. Below are general instructions:
- For Meta (Facebook, Instagram & Threads):
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Go to "Settings & Privacy" > "Settings".
- In the left sidebar, click on "Business Integrations" (or "Apps and Websites").
- Find "TrignoWeb" in the list of authorized applications.
- Select it and click "Remove". This will disconnect Facebook pages, Instagram accounts, and Threads profiles linked through Meta.
- For LinkedIn:
- Log in to your LinkedIn account.
- Click on your profile icon ("Me") and select "Settings & Privacy".
- Go to the "Data Privacy" section and find "Permitted services".
- Find "TrignoWeb" and click "Remove" next to it.
- For Twitter (X):
- Log in to your Twitter account.
- Go to "More" > "Settings and privacy" > "Security and account access".
- Click on "Apps and sessions" > "Connected apps".
- Find "TrignoWeb", click on it, and select "Revoke app permissions".
- For Medium:
- Log in to your Medium account.
- Go to your "Settings" page.
- Click on "Security and apps" from the navigation menu.
- Under "Connected apps", find "TrignoWeb" and click "Revoke access".
- For Tumblr:
- Log in to your Tumblr account.
- Go to "Settings" and select "Apps".
- Find "TrignoWeb" in the list of connected applications.
- Click the "X" icon next to it to revoke access.
- For Blogger (Google):
- Go to your Google Account settings at `myaccount.google.com`.
- Navigate to the "Security" section.
- Scroll to "Your connections to third-party apps & services".
- Find "TrignoWeb", click on it, and select "Delete all connections you have with TrignoWeb" (or similar wording).
- For YouTube (Videos & Shorts):
- Go to your Google Account settings at `myaccount.google.com`.
- Navigate to the "Security" section.
- Scroll to "Your connections to third-party apps & services".
- Find "TrignoWeb", click on it, and select "Delete all connections you have with TrignoWeb" (or similar wording).
Important: Once you revoke permissions on a platform, our system can no longer perform any actions on the associated profile, page, or blog. All scheduled posts for that platform will fail.
2. Requesting Permanent Data Deletion
Deauthorizing our application stops future access, but some of your data may remain on our servers (e.g., past content and analytics). You have the right to request the permanent deletion of this data.
To request the deletion of your data for a specific social media channel or your entire TrignoWeb account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to our support team at [Your Support Email Address].
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
- In the body of the email, please include:
- The email address associated with your TrignoWeb account.
- The specific social media profile(s) or page(s) you wish to have deleted (e.g., "My Facebook Page: [Page Name]" or "My LinkedIn Profile"). If you want all your data deleted, please state "Delete my entire account and all associated data".
Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity and proceed with permanently deleting all related data from our active systems, including authentication tokens, stored content, and performance analytics for the specified channel(s). This process will be completed within 30 days of your request.
3. Data We Handle
To provide our service, we securely handle the following data:
- Authentication Tokens: Encrypted keys that allow us to post on your behalf. These are rendered useless once you deauthorize the app.
- Profile Information: Your name, profile picture, and list of manageable pages/profiles to allow you to select where to post.
- Content: Content you create, schedule, or generate using our AI tools.
- Analytics Data: Post insights such as reach, likes, comments, and shares, which are displayed on your dashboard.
4. Our Commitment to Data Privacy
We do not and will not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your audience's data with any third parties for their marketing purposes. All data is used solely to provide and improve the TrignoWeb service for you. Our practices are designed to be fully compliant with the developer policies of all supported platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, please contact us at [Your Support Email Address].
